COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - WIS International, a company that provides inventory and data collection services to retailers and warehouses, will be recruiting about 20 employees on Wednesday, Dec. 16, to work in the Columbus area.
The recruitment will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Georgia Department of Labor's (GDOL) Columbus Career Center located at 700 Veterans Parkway.
The company is recruiting traveling inventory associates and drivers. While the associates must be at least 18 years old, applicants for the driver positions must be at least 23 years old, have a valid Class C driver's license, and at least a five-year good driving record.
All applicants must have a high school diploma, or General Education Diploma (GED), be able to travel overnight throughout the Columbus area, and be able to operate a hand-held computer to count inventory in retail establishments and warehouses.
Salaries range from $9 an hour for the associates to $10 an hour for the drivers. The company pays the travel and lodging expenses.
Also, the company will conduct a background check and drug-screening test.
