Woman accused of abuse of children at Columbus daycare

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus woman was arrested on Tuesday following accusations of child abuse at a daycare.

According to Columbus Police Department incident reports, Rose White, 43, was arrested and charged with first-degree cruelty to children.

White was arrested at the business, Another Great Beginnings Childcare, located at 7830 Veterans Parkway, around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

The reports state that the children, both 2-year-old boys, were involved in the incident, but only one of the children were hurt.

The reports indicate that one of the children had "redness/bruising to upper back," but did not indicate how the injuries occurred. 

According to the Muscogee County Jail website, White has been released from jail.
