COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Christmas came early Saturday for some local kids.
Davis Broadcasting hosted their annual Needy Children's Christmas Party at Columbus Civic Center. Funds for the Party were raised at this year's 24-hour radiothon.
"It's good to see the kids come down & put a smile on their face. Every kid leaves here with a toy, no exception. Everybody walks out with a toy or a gift or a vibe. It just feels good to give back to the community and see the kids have a great Christmas," said assistant program director DJ OO Kee.
Organizers say they are proud to have continued the tradition for 49 years.
Each kid who attended got a toy, a McDonald's coupon, and plus a chance to win a brand new bike.
