More Details: AU official on leave after arrest

LEE COUNTY, AL (WTVM) - Auburn University has placed a top level Alumni Affairs employee on administrative leave, following his arrest on charges of enticing a 14-year-old student and checking her out of school.

Investigators say on Dec. 16, 47-year-old Larry Brown checked out the female student from Beauregard High School and later checked her back in.

Officials say the big question they want answered is what exactly what Brown and the student did during that time period.

"Additional charges may occur at a later point in time but right now at this point in the investigation, those are the charges Mr. Brown is facing," said Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones.

The teen's parents reported the incident to the school and then to investigators.

The case will be presented to a grand jury soon and depending on what investigators learn, Brown could face additional charges.
