COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A woman arrested for allegedly robbing a Columbus gas station on Saturday appeared in court on Monday.

A CPD police report says Kimberly Holmes, of Woodland, GA, was arrested following an incident at a Circle K, located at 6900 Beaver Run Road after midnight on Saturday. A kitchen knife was later found in the bag, according to investigators at court on Monday.

The report says the Holmes "made a gun gesture with [her] hand inside of [a] bag" after entering the store through the front entrance.

Detectives say Holmes made off with an undisclosed amount of cash before being arrested. She's being held in the Muscogee County Jail without bond.
