Keep Columbus Beautiful hosts Christmas tree recycling project

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Keep Columbus Beautiful is making sure citizens are doing their part to recycle that old Christmas tree.

KCB hosted the “Bring One for the Chipper” Christmas Tree Recycling event on Saturday. 

Christmas trees were dropped off at the following locations:

  • Britt David Park
  • Cooper Creek Park
  • Dinglewood Park
  • Shirley Winston Park

Recycle trucks were at these sites on Saturday, January 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to collect boxes, wrapping paper, and other recyclable items.

Columbus residents also picked up blue recycle bins at this time.
