UPDATE: Hwy. 27 in Harris Co. reopened following repairs on collapsed drainage pipe

HARRIS COUNTY, GA (WTVM) - Highway 27 in Harris County at Macon Drive reopened following a drainage pipe collapse on Friday, according to an official with the Harris County Emergency Management Office. 

The collapse occurred on Wednesday, when northbound traffic has been rerouted on West Bonacre Road to Fortson Road, and the southbound traffic had a detour at Holland Road to Warms Spring Road.

Officials asked commuters to follow the detours set up for both north and southbound traffic.
