COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - St. Anne-Pacelli School has issued a message to parents, stating that their school's lockdown protocols have been lifted.
At around 12:20 p.m. on Monday, the private school sent a message to parents stating that a lockdown had been initiated as the Columbus Police Department searched for a "criminal suspect."
At 1:30 p.m., CPD notified the school that the lockdown had been lifted and the suspect was detained.
St. Anne-Paceilli is located at 2020 Kay Cir in Columbus.
The message sent to parents say the person police were searching for was not armed, and that all students, staff and faculty in the school are safe and accounted for.
