COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - For the past 13 years, Mercedes-Benz of Columbus and the Greater Columbus American Heart Association have teamed up to fight Heart Disease and Stroke by raffling off a brand new Mercedes-Benz.
This year, 1,924 tickets were for sale, and two winners will be chosen. The winners will each receive a brand new Mercedes-Benz.
Why 1,924 tickets? That's the year the American Heart Association was established.
Representatives with Mercedes-Benz said that all tickets are now sold out as of Wednesday.
Through this raffle and the support of the surrounding community, more than $380,000 has been raised to help fund life-saving research developed by the American Heart Association.
Tickets are $100 each. Tickets purchased online will be charged an additional processing fee per ticket.
The Raffle Drawing will take place Saturday, Jan. 23, at 2 p.m. at Mercedes-Benz of Columbus on Veterans Parkway.
All tickets are tax deductible and net proceeds benefit the Greater Columbus American Heart Association.
The Heart Raffle is only open to legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age or older at the time of drawing. Winners need not be present to win.
Tickets purchased online will be mailed the following business day. Online ticket sales will end Monday, Jan. 18 at 11 p.m.
