Military bases denying some visitor access

If you have an ID card from five states, you will no longer be able to gain visitor access to military installations, including Fort Benning.

According to the Military Times, the news was announced by a spokesman for the Army.

The decision was made because of the 2005 Real ID Act which requires states to meet minimum security requirements for their state-issued IDs.

States included in the list are Missouri, Washington, Illinois, New Mexico and Minnesota.
