CPD issues BOLO on man wanted in sexual assault

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Columbus Police Department's sex crimes division has issued a BOLO on a man they believe is responsible in several crimes against a teenage girl. 

Police say Freddie Windell Williams, a convicted felon, is suspected of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl. 

He was last seen in the vicinity of Rigdon Park on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016.  He may be possibly hiding out on the Riverwalk or within the homeless community. It is unknown if he is armed but he should be considered extremely dangerous.

Williams, 60, stands at 6'2" and weighs 230 pounds.
