Police: Man dies following incident at Outlaw Saloon Saturday night

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus police have confirmed that a man involved in an incident at a Columbus bar on Saturday night passed away on Sunday.

According to Muscogee County Deputy Coroner Freeman Worley, 23-year-old Marquis Brown died at 8 p.m. at Midtown Medical Center.

Brown was involved in an incident at Outlaw Saloon on Saturday night, according to police. Outlaw Saloon is located at 6499 Veterans Parkway, in Columbus. It is unclear what happened during the incident or what caused it.

Worley says the case is being investigated as a homicide, and he cannot say the manner of death at this time. The body will be sent for an autopsy on Monday.
