Columbus man arrested after cameras capture arson at Walmart

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus Walmart employee is under fire and in jail tonight as he face an arson charge. 

According to a Columbus police report, Curtis Jackson was caught on a surveillance camera igniting a fire on Jan. 29.

Jackson is accused of setting papers on fire in a back room of the Airport Thruway Walmart and causing more than $200 in damage.

The fire was put out by store employees.

Jackson was arrested and charged with third degree arson.
