UPDATE: Third Upatoi murder suspect enters not guilty plea in court Monday

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The third teenager accused of killing three people in their Upatoi home is expected to make his first court appearance.

Rufus Burks, 15, was arrested on Feb. 4 in connection with the murders on Bentley Drive on Jan. 4. Burks entered a plea of not guilty, per his attorney. 

Burks is being charged as an adult with three counts of murder and burglary among other crimes along with 17-year-old Jervarceay Tapley and 19-year-old Raheam Gibson.

The assistant district attorney described the events that led to Burks arrest, stating that Gibson implied his involvement in the incident.
