(WTVM) – The United States Army is in the middle of downsizing and has released its budget for the upcoming year.

The plan is designed to funnel money into being ready for an attack. Cuts are being made to other areas including personnel, modernization and construction.

The $125 billion budget is cutting the dollar amount going to active force and reserve personnel. This means the number of soldiers will be cut by 15,000.
