COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Some impressive teenagers were honored on Thursday night in Columbus.

In the last few weeks, we've introduced you to all seven finalists for Youth of the Year from the Boys and Girls Club of the Chattahoochee Valley.

Our own Jason Dennis was honored to emcee the banquet with a big crowd at the National Infantry Museum.

The winner of Youth of the Year is Jordan High senior Austin Leathers, who was also a finalist last year.

You can see our reports on all the teens at this link

Additionally, three men were inducted into the organization's Hall of Fame at the event - Bill Reaves, Charles Harbour, and posthumously Curtis Jordan (Jerdan) Sr.

Congratulations to Austin and all of the nominees!
