COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

A Columbus man found guilty of rape more than 30 years ago was set to learn if he's getting a new trial next month.

Instead, his hearing was pushed back to March 17.

Paul Tyner was convicted in 1981, but three months ago his conviction was reversed.

Tyner won an appeal when it was determined the judge in the original trial violated his right to legal counsel.
