COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Three men have been arrested and will face charges on more than 40 burglaries during a three-month span in Muscogee, Troup and Harris counties.
According to the Columbus Police Department, 48 small businesses and restaurants were targets of burglaries from December 2015 to February 2016.
The suspects also committed numerous business burglaries in various regions of Troup and Harris counties and in Alabama.
Detective Joseph Austin and the burglary and theft unit assumed the investigations at which time three suspects were apprehended in Marion County that matched suspect leads in these burglaries.
After several additional weeks of investigation, a total of 48 business burglaries were linked to these three suspects and the suspect vehicle used during the burglaries.
The suspects have been identified as Artavius Reynolds, 25, Xavius Reynolds, 28, and Andrew Edge, 18, and were arrested in Marion County.
Burglary charges are pending on these suspects upon their transfer to our jurisdiction.
