Auburn PD identify man found dead at abandoned trailer park

AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - The Auburn Police Department has released the identity of a man found dead on Saturday.

At around 2:20 p.m. CST, Auburn Police responded to a report of an unresponsive man lying in the roadway in an abandoned trailer park located in the 200 block of Lee Road 2177. 

Police found 54-year-old Christopher Noland Rogers of Headland, AL in the roadway dead. 

The case is being investigated as a homicide by Auburn Police. 

Lee County Coroner Bill Harris responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead at 4:50 p.m.  The body will be transported to the State Medical Examiner’s office in Montgomery for an autopsy. 

The case remains under investigation by the Auburn Police Division, the State Medical Examiner’s Office and the Lee County Coroner’s Office.
