Shootings in Lagrange sends two to separate hospitals

LAGRANGE, GA (WTVM) -

Two separate shootings within an hour of each other in LaGrange Monday send two men to the hospital.

According to the Lagrange Daily News, a 35-year old man was shot in the hand and leg around 11:30 Monday morning outside a home on Murphy Ave. He was taken by Lifeflight to Columbus Regional Hospital for treatment.

About an hour earlier a 24-year old man was shot in a home on Whitesville St. He was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta after being shot in the abdomen. Police believe that shooting was the result of an argument. A man at the scene was taken into custody for questioning.
