COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Columbus Police confirm the second suspect wanted in connection to the Super 8 Motel shooting death in December has submitted to authorities.

Brandon Kennedy turned himself in to police Wednesday, March 9.

The first suspect, Terrence Holloway, was arrested Monday, March 7 after a brief police chase. He is scheduled to appear in Recorders Court on Thursday, March 10 at 9 a.m.

On Dec. 18, 2015 at 10:57 p.m. the Columbus Police Department Patrol Division was dispatched to the Super 8 Motel at 2935 Warm Springs Road in reference to a shooting.

Police discovered Travis Coleman dead in the parking lot from a gunshot wound.

Patrol supervisors requested assistance from the Robbery/Assault Unit and the ID division. Robbery/Assault responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. 

During the investigation, Kennedy and Holloway were developed as suspects.
