    More than nine witnesses took the stand Thursday with testimonies detailing the 72 hour crime spree that ended in the horrific murder of David Scott.  Scott, 34, was shot and killed on Sept. 19, 2014 at the intersection of 7th Street and Coolidge Ave.

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A verdict has been reached in the murder of 24-year-old David Scott.

Christopher Whitaker, Christopher Pender, Tyrequiss Wells and Donald Fair were found not guilty of malice murder. Whitaker, Pender and Wells were found guilty of felony murder.

No verdict has been reached on Fair's felony murder charge. 

They will be sentenced on March 25.
