COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The 'suspicious package' located at the Columbus women's healthcare clinic on Thursday was later identified as a makeup delivery, according to Columbus Fire Marshal Ricky Shores.

Officials were called to the scene of a suspicious package at the Columbus Women's Health Organization on Rosemont Drive in Columbus on Thursday.

Based on the information law enforcement was given, the staff at the clinic did not recognize the package, and none of the employees were expecting any sort of package.

The package was found on the clinic's front door Thursday morning and while approaching it with caution they called police.

Several crews were on scene, including bomb squad, fire units and EMS, who later blew up the package.

Details are limited at this time; check back for more updates.
