Drug suspects face judge

Two suspects arrested during an attempted drug raid on Oates Avenue Wednesday appeared before a Columbus judge Friday afternoon.

Sarah Jones and Twain Griffis were arrested during the drug search at the home earlier this week.

The G-B-I says a multi-agency narcotics force was serving a warrant at the home for 48 year old Russell Napier for allegedly selling Methamphetamines.

During the raid, police say 36 year old Brian Napier charged at an officer and was shot in the left arm.

Jones was arrested for possession of Meth and a drug related object with bond and Griffis was charged with failure to register as a Sex Offender with no bond.

He is scheduled to appear in Recorders Court on the March 28th.
