Bond set for Americus murder suspect

A Superior Court Judge has set a $100,000 cash bond for an Americus murder suspect.

Lashondia Terry was granted bond Thursday in a hearing in Sumter County.

Terry is accused of fatally stabbing her boyfriend Courtney Jackson at their home on Valentine's night.

The district attorney says a jury will ultimately have to decide if Terry acted in self defense or out of her own anger.

Terry must also turn in her passport.

She has a curfew from 7 p.m. until  6 a.m. Eastern Time and she cannot speak with Jackson's family.

The DA hopes to indict the case in May.
