COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - On Sunday, April 17, the competition pool at the Columbus Aquatic Center was closed due to a rupture in a pipe.
Officials with the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department say the pool may be closed as many as 10 days.
The main reason for the delay is because the replacement parts are not available to purchase locally and must be ordered out of state.
The therapeutic pool has not been affected and is still operation. As soon as the competition pool has been repaired, the public will be notified.
