COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – New Life-Second Chance Outreach, Inc. in collaboration with Baby Fetish Infant and Beyond, Inc. will be hosting a “one stop shop” resource and job fair for people with criminal records.

The purpose of the fair is to provide resources for people with criminal records who have returned to communities. This event gives them an opportunity to navigate around the barriers to a successful reentry by giving them resources such as employment, housing, education, health, mental health, substance abuse, transportation, parenting and family counseling.

The resource and job fair will be held on Friday, April 22 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Synovus room at the Columbus library on Macon Road.

This event is free and employers will be present to meet and connect with interested applicants. Everyone is encouraged to be dressed for possible interviews and to bring resumes.
