Columbus Lions face their toughest test of the season

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Columbus Lions haven't just won all four of their games so far this season, they've annihilated the opposition to the tune of 306-to-65, with a defense that's been an absolute monster.

However, all that's in the rear view mirror. Now it's time for their toughest test yet, as the undefeated Florida Tarpons come to town.

As for preparation this week, nothing changes.
"They are probably the best team we'll play, but it's the same thing in practice. it's us against us," defensive end Logan Ingle said. "We're not going to do anything different. Treat it just like any other week."
"You can go into practice and over-prepare," head coach Jason Gibson said. "It's just another team and I know how good our team is so I'm going to maintain what we do and I'll push them a little bit. We compete against ourselves in practice, that's all that really matters. The games are the fun parts."

The Lions and the Florida Tarpons will kick things off Saturday night at 7 EDT at the Columbus Civic Center.
