MOST WANTED: Ft. Benning Rd. Circle K armed robbers

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Two armed robbers are on the loose and Columbus Police need your help locating them.

The Columbus Circle K store on Fort Benning Road was the location of a hold-up last month.

According to police, two armed suspects entered the store around 11:30 p.m. on March 16 demanding money and cigarettes.

"They were both black males, about 5'7 about 155 pounds, and if you have any information at all please call the Columbus Police Department Robbery and Assault Unit," said Officer Paul Moody with the Columbus Police Department.

Officer Moody says the store clerk was injured during the robbery but has since recovered.

The suspects were wearing masks, which may make identifying them a little tougher for police. However, investigators are hoping someone will still recognize them and step forward with information that could help them make an arrest.

"It may be a little harder but you might know someone who wears a mask like that a biker mask and they may still recognize some of their features from the footage," Officer Moody said.

Keep in mind, these suspects are considered armed and dangerous, so if you see them do not approach them.

Simply call the Columbus Police Department's Robbery and Assault Unit at (706) 653-3400.

Remember, any information you can offer police could be helpful in making an arrest.
