Columbus restaurant donates portion of Wednesday sales to David Pollard Fund

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

A Columbus business is working to help the family of the Carver High baseball coach killed in a hit and run car accident last week. 

Skippers Seafood on Buena Vista Road is donating 10 percent of its sales Wednesday to the David Pollard Fund. 

Pollard, 36, died Monday, April 18 after a suspect driving a stolen car ran a red light and crashed into his vehicle. 

Skippers closes at 8 p.m.
