COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Three teens have been charged in a theft from the LaGrange College Baseball Field on Saturday.
According to the LaGrange Police Department, Troup County 911 dispatch received a complaint from a witness saying that two to three teens were stealing property from the baseball facility at 425 Forrest Avenue in LaGrange, GA. Police responded around 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
The stolen property was identified as a John Deere Gator, which is a utility tractor used by the college valued at $1,000. Police said it was taken from the baseball facility.
After an investigation, LaGrange police say three male suspects, including two 14 year-olds and a 13 year-old, all admitted to stealing it. The teens have been charged with burglary and theft by receiving stolen property.
