COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus State University gave a sneak peek of its newest dorms as student recruiters and campus officials got a first time tour of the inside on Monday.
Clearview Hall, which will be largest on campus dorms at CSU, will have 540 beds along with study rooms, kitchens, and state-of-the-art WiFi Technology.
Construction is expected to be completed in July with move-in day scheduled in August.
Sarah Secoy with Columbus State says this is a great new chapter for the university.
"We are really excited about the community it's going to bring to our first year students," Secoy said. "Having a lot of shared community spaces in the building is really going to develop on-campus feel and a traditional college feel."
The project is a partnership with Corvias Campus Living with an initiative to build more than 3,000 beds on seven different Georgia campuses.
