COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Often we hear about the problem with drug abuse, and how it’s getting worse with prescription painkillers, but what's being done about it at the state and community levels? 

In Georgia, there's been a 10 percent increase in drug overdose deaths from 2013 to 2014. And Alabama tops the nation in the amount of prescriptions per 100,000 people.
