PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) – Ieshia Lockett, 25, has been arrested after escaping from police on Tuesday, May10 following a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle.
On Wednesday May 11, members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force along with members of the Phenix City Police Department Patrol Division and Criminal Investigations Division arrested Ieshia Lockett at a hotel on US Hwy 280 in Phenix City, Al.
Lockett was wanted for three felony warrants for theft of property in the first-degree (theft of an automobile) and two misdemeanor warrants. The misdemeanor warrants are for fleeing and eluding law enforcement and reckless endangerment for the high speed pursuit that she lead Phenix City officers on Tuesday.
Lockett was arrested without incident.
She also has a felony warrant through the Columbus Police Department.
