Columbus man arrested after representing 'Gangster Disciple' on Facebook

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A Columbus man was arrested and charged with criminal gang activity, possession of marijuana and other charges on Tuesday, May 10.

Davon Wallace, 24, was arrested in the 900 block of Booker Avenue following a search warrant that revealed that there was about an ounce of marijuana, several marijuana grinders, digital scales and plastic bags, which is commonly used for the sale of narcotics. 

According to police, Wallace had several pictures on his Facebook page claiming to be a part of “Solid Gang.” He also had pictures of himself showing gang signs that represent the “Gangster Disciple.”

Wallace was charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute - $5,000 bond
  • Possession of drug related objects - $250 bond
  • Criminal gang activity - No bond
  • Burglary in the first-degree - $5,000

He is scheduled to appear in Recorders Court on Thursday at 9 a.m.
