WASHINGTON, DC (WTVM) - She just turned 13 and Barbara Joy "BJ" Tillman is an accomplished artist.

On Thursday she presented some of that artwork to first lady Michelle Obama as part of the first lady's luncheon in Washington DC. BJ and her mother met with Mrs. Obama, and BJ presented the first lady with a painting of first daughters Sasha and Malia.

The Tillmans were part of a large group of people from the Chattahoochee Valley who attended the prestigious first lady's luncheon put on each year by the Congressional Club.

The Chairman of this year's event was Vivian Bishop, wife of Georgia Congressman Sanford Bishop.

The theme of the luncheon was "Georgia Posh, Peach Southern Hospitality." Artwork and artifacts created by Columbus artists were presented to the Mrs. Obama.
