COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Several prominent filmmakers were in Columbus on Monday to announce support for a local organization.
The Kendrick Brothers, makers of the film "War Room," announced their support for International Friendship Ministries.
The ministry's founders are the aunt and uncle of the movie's producer Steven Kendrick, who was the featured speaker at a luncheon at the Saint Luke Ministry Center in Columbus. We also talked with David Kendrick, another one of the film's producers, at the event.
"It's an incredible organization that shows love and kindness to the people that come from all over the world to the Columbus area," Steven said.
The event was sponsored by Burger King.
