AUBURN, AL (WTVM) – The Auburn Police Division arrested 32-year-old Benjamin Glaik on felony warrants charging him with burglary in the third-degree and theft of property in the second degree.
The arrest is the result of an investigation by an Auburn police into a burglary that occurred in the 100 block of North College Street on May 9. Officers responded to the business to discover that someone had forced entry inside while it was closed and stole an undetermined amount money.
An investigation into the incident by Auburn police resulted in a former employee, Galik being developed as a suspect, after he was captured on video surveillance.
Detectives obtained warrants for his arrest charging him with burglary in the third-degree and theft of property in the second-degree.
Galik was taken to the Lee County Jail and will be eligible for a $6,000 bond.
