One of the candidates previously disqualified from the Muscogee County Sheriff's race has won his appeal. Mark LeJoye is now back on the ballot in the race for Sheriff following a judge's reversal of his disqualification, according to his Defense Attorney Mark Shellnutt. He had been disqualified due to questions over paperwork dealing with his high school diploma and birth certificate. Another disqualified candidate, Donna Thompkins, is still awaiting a decision on her appeal.
