1933: Actress Joan Collins is born in London, England. 

1934: Police ambush bank robbers Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, killing both in Beinville Parish, Louisiana. 

2015: Actress and comedian Anne Meara dies in Manhattan, New York at age 85.
