3 from Meriwether Co., 8 others sentenced in drug distribution network

MERIWETHER COUNTY, GA (WTVM) -

Eleven people were sentenced in federal court in Georgia on Thursday, including three from Meriwether County, in connection to a major drug distribution network. 

Officials say Harlan Orlando Jackson, Christopher Brent Jackson, and Tiffany Jackson distributed large quantities of meth from their Meriwether County homes on Kodiak Lane in Greenville prior to July 2014. 

The attached photo shows some of the contraband seized during a law enforcement raid in July 2014. 

Officials say the Jacksons also had connections with a Mexican drug cartel in Atlanta and Florida. 

As part of the sentencing, Harlan Jackson was sentenced to 25 years, Christopher Jackson to 13 years, and Tiffany Jackson to 33 months in prison.

Eight other people from Georgia and Florida were also sentenced in this case:

  • Brenda Davis of Panama City, FL was charged with conspiracy to possess methamphetamine with intent to distribute. She was sentenced to 94 months and five years of supervised probation and drug treatment program.
     
  • Andrea McNally of Panama City, FL was also charged with conspiracy to possess methamphetamine with intent to distribute. She was sentenced to 26 months and five years of supervised probation and drug treatment program.
     
  • Leon “June Bug” Buchannan of Grantville, GA was also charged with conspiracy to possess methamphetamine with intent to distribute. He was sentenced to 60 months and five years’ supervised probation, and drug treatment program.
     
  • Jose Manuel Lopez of Lake City, FL was charged with conspiracy to possess 500 grams or more of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. He was sentenced to 144 months, with five years’ supervised probation and ordered to Immigrations and Customs for deportation.
     
  • Elmer V. Ochoa of Atlanta, GA was charged with conspiracy to possess 500 grams or more of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm. He was sentenced to 162 months, with five years’ supervised probation and ordered to Immigrations and Customs for deportation.
     
  • Angela Nash of Newnan, GA was charged with conspiracy to possess 500 grams or more of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm. She was sentenced to 98 months, with five years’ supervised probation and drug treatment
     
  • Jeremy Hayes of Panama City, FL was charged with conspiracy to possess 500 grams or more of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. He was sentenced to 78 months, with five years’ supervised probation
     
  • Jonnie Jeter of Panama City, FL was charged with conspiracy to possess 500 grams or more of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. He will be sentenced on June 23.
