COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

A new attraction is opening in Columbus just in time for summer break, and some kids are jumping at the bit to get inside.

With the unofficial start of summer only days away, Columbus' newest attraction Launch Trampoline Park officially opened early Saturday morning. and it is fun for all ages.

Launch provides more than 10,000 thousand square feet of bouncy trampoline fun.

This is the ninth franchise location for Launch and they were ecstatic to be able to call the Chattahoochee Valley home.

"My wife and I came into town last night and to see the Launch billboards in town and to come in and be greeted by the friendly Columbus staff and seeing the smiling faces, it’s unbelievable, it is a dream come true," said Rob Arnold, CEO of Launch Trampoline Parks.

Although the target audience is kids ages 8 to 14, that does not keep the adults away from this supersized trampoline playground.

"I haven't been able to dunk in about 20 years so I have been looking forward this moment for this place to open so I can feel what it feels like to dunk again,” said Matt Bell, principal of Hardaway High School. “It is a really good workout and I got here at 9:45, I have been waiting months for this place to open."

The park is located at 7607 Veterans Parkway where Front Porch of the South used to be.
