PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) - Russell County Sheriff's investigators served four search warrants at four different locations Wednesday night in the 16th Avenue area of Phenix City, and arrested 19 people as a result.

A press release issued Thursday said that the Russell County Sheriff's Office and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency executed four search warrants at the following Phenix City addresses:

  • 1109 5th Street South
  • 110 16th Avenue South
  • 107 17th Avenue south
  • 400 Martin Luther King Pkwy. Apartment A-8

The raid resulted in the seizure of the following items:

  • 1/4 pound of marijuana
  • 8 grams of crack cocaine
  • controlled prescription medications
  • two rifles, one of which was stolen from Columbus, GA
  • three handguns, one of which was stolen from Pheinix City
  • 1 12-gauge shotgun

In total, 19 people were arrested, with 15 misdemeanor arrests and 14 felony arrests.
