AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - An Auburn teen has been arrested in connection to a burglary earlier this week.
On Tuesday, June 7 at approximately 3:20 p.m., Auburn Police responded to a burglary in progress call at a residence in the 600 Block of North Ross Street.
Officers were given the description of an individual seen fleeing from the residence after it was unlawfully entered.
Within minutes of the call APD Officers located 18-year-old Quentravius Heard hiding in a wooded area in the vicinity.
He was taken into custody by officers and identified as the individual responsible for forcing entry into the victim's residence and subsequently fleeing.
Heard was charged with burglary in the third degree and transported to the Lee County and will be eligible for a $3,000 bond.
