COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A group of Vietnam War veterans held a special reunion outside the National Infantry Museum in Columbus.
Members of the 173rd Airborne Brigade gathered next to their outdoor monument, right on the Memorial Walk of Honor.
One veteran told News Leader 9 that he traveled all the way from Tennessee to honor his brothers in arms, especially those who died during the Siege of Dak To.
A crowd of hundreds stayed for a vigil brigade members had organized for later Friday evening. 173rd Airborne received a Presidential commendation for their heroism at the siege.
