COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - More than 60 Wells Fargo team members rolled up their sleeves to volunteer in the Columbus community on Saturday.
It was all part of 'Community Service Super Saturday' where hundreds of company volunteers and friends participate in 34 activities across 29 Georgia cities.
Volunteers partnered with House of Heroes to make needed repairs to the home of Mrs. Mattie Clay in Columbus.
Her husband, Willie Clay Jr. served more than 20 years in the Army and passed away in 2010.
"She is very excited. She has been really pumped up. Anything she is willing to give. She is just humble and grateful," said Ashley Hawthorne with Wells Fargo.
House of Heroes presented Mrs. Clay with an American flag for her husband's years of service.
Wells Fargo also made a check donation of $15,000 to the House of Heroes projects.
