COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – The man wanted in connection to the 17th Avenue murder is now in custody with Columbus police.
According to police, Torrance Menefee, 30, had a murder warrant out for his arrest for the death of 25-year-old Kenneth Holloway, Jr. Menefee turned himself in to police on Tuesday with his attorney Stacey Jackson.
The deadly shooting happened on Saturday, June 18 around 10 p.m.
Menefee was additionally charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
He is scheduled to appear in Recorder's Court on Friday at 9 a.m.
