Eufaula Police Dept. confirms rabies case

EUFAULA, AL (WTVM) - The Eufaula Police Department has confirmed a recent rabies case.

According to the Public Health Department, a fox that attacked a dog on Sunday, June 26 on Cypress Cove Drive near Shadow Moss Drive has tested positive for rabies.

Police advise residents to take precautions with their animals and do not approach any wildlife, especially if seen during daylight hours.
