COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus police continue to search for one last suspect connected to that deadly shooting earlier this year at Peachtree Mall.
It's a homicide case Columbus police are still trying to close.
A deadly shooting that happened at Peachtree Mall on March 26 is still an open case, even though police have two of the murder suspects in police custody.
"The victim of this shooting is Anthony Meredith who was transported to the Medical Center and later pronounced deceased," said Officer Paul Moody with the Columbus Police Department.
But it's Terell McFarland who is still on the run, and police are asking for your help catching him.
Keep in mind that McFarland has been on the run for nearly three months now, so help police put this dangerous criminal where he belongs – behind bars.
According to Officer Moody, an arrest warrant was obtained for Xzavien Jones on March 26 but he later turned himself into police.
Weeks later, arrest warrants were obtained for Tekoa Young as well as McFarland.
Young was arrested on May 26, but police are still having trouble catching up to the final suspect.
However, they say it's only a matter of time before he is eventually caught.
"Information for the warrant is put in and so nationally in any state if he gets pulled over by another officer their computer, their radio system will tell them that he is wanted," Officer Moody said.
Remember McFarland is considered armed and dangerous. If you know where he can be found give Columbus police a call at (706) 653-3400.
