AUBURN, AL (WTVM) -

The field for the Barbasol Championship is now set after Monday’s open qualifier at the Auburn University Club.

Troy Matteson was medalist in the one-day event, carding a 6-under-66 to claim a spot in the tournament.

Former Troy Trojan Josh Broadway finished seconds with a 67.

The final two spots went to Chase Parker and Adam Hart, after they outlasted Nick Flanagan and Arjun Atwal in a four-man playoff after the quartet all shot 4-under-68 on the day.

Barbasol Championship Week now shifts to the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail’s Grand National Course in Opelika, with Tuesday’s practice day and the Wednesday Pro-Am.

The tournament itself gets underway on Thursday morning.
